About Gabrielle

Gabrielle Roberts is an AI and virtual production specialist pioneering the intersection of computer science and film. She has worked with Oscar-winning filmmakers, led virtual human innovations at the Sequoia-backed startup Brud, and was a main virtual production operator and technical artist on Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender. She has contributed to upcoming Lucasfilm projects as a virtual production lead and is an Adjunct Professor of virtual production at USC School of Cinematic Arts.

 

She is currently working with Google DeepMind and Warner Bros. as the first-ever Creative AI Supervisor on "The Wizard of Oz" at the Las Vegas Sphere. Gabrielle is a Schwarzman Scholar and has received the Princess Diana Award for founding Code Your Chances, an international nonprofit teaching creative computer science. As a director, she blends technical innovation with bold storytelling to build the future of film. She is a proud recipient of the Bentonville Film Festival and M&M's For All Funkind Grant, which funded her latest short, “Level Up”.
