Wizard of Oz

I had the privilege to lead a collaboration between artists and Google DeepMind engineers who invented new methods to bring Oz to life on a 16K x 16K screen—a type of technological feat never attempted before.

I am one of the few women working in virtual production, a cutting-edge sector of VFX that combines computer science and film. I was the main virtual production operator and technical artist for Netflix's "Avatar the Last Airbender."

M&M's For All Funkind

I am proud my next film, "Level Up", is funded by M&Ms and the Geena Davis Institute for Media in Gender. As the M&M's For All Funkind grant winner, I am also partnered with the brand for an upcoming project.

I founded a nonprofit that introduces young girls to the creative uses of computer science and how they can apply their unique creativity to tech. Our mission is to inspire a new generation of diverse leaders in computer science by focusing on how computer science is used in creative industries, such as film production, game development, AR, VR, and creative uses of AI. CYC works with communities that have limited access to tech education.

I was an early member of the the Sequoia-backed startup Brud. We created, Miquela, one of the world's most famous virtual influencers.

Filmmaker

I am a writer, director and producer. I have worked with Oscar-winning filmmakers and screened my films in festivals around the world. My films always feature a female protagonist and typically seek to champion women in tech.

Global Leader

I am fortunate to be a Schwarzman Scholar, a one year fully-funded master's program at Tsinghua University in Beijing. The competitive scholarship is designed to build a global community of future leaders who will serve to deepen understanding between China and the rest of the world.
